Actor in Residence Programs

Foster a partnership between Lightwire Theatrical Productions and your school with the Actor in Residence program.

Your students can take advantage of ongoing support from experienced performers with specialised knowledge in your chosen area of interest. Over a period of 8 -12 weeks (longer periods available) relationships will grow and so will your students' confidence in performing, knowledge of theory and ability to present their work in stage confidently.

How the Program Works

After contacting Lightwire Theatrical Productions with your enquiry about the Actor in Residence (AIR) Program, we will contact available workshop leaders in your field of interest. The selected actor’s biography will then be forwarded to your school including a suggested time-line for the partnership (suggested activities, preparation and available resources).  When all parties have agreed upon the time-line and payment has been made, the AIR program commences on a weekly or fortnightly basis for the agreed length of time.
